Introduction

Custom souvenir products are an affordable way to add greater profit to your business and a proven strategy to increase sales. Canoe Valley offers a wide variety of quality Canadian made products that can help you achieve this growth.  Some of our products include Postcards, Iron on Emblems, Assorted Pens, Magnets and Stickers. To get the most from your custom products initiative, please read these Custom Guidelines carefully.

Minimums

Minimum quantities are established to help lower the cost of production and to offer cost effective per unit price to the customer. PLEASE NOTE: There can sometimes be a variance of between 5% over or under. Overruns will be shipped at no additional charge.

Artwork

Custom souvenir products start with great images and superb graphics. You will need to provide us with all necessary files including photography, illustrations and supporting documents. (please see photography). Producing a captivating layout is handled by our expert team of designers. They will provide graphic resources to assist in developing your final winning product. One time art charge of $18 – $35 per design will be applied to all custom orders. Depending on the complexity of a design, there could be additional art charges. This will be discussed with you before any work has begun. Three revisions are included per job unless previously discussed with the art department. Additional revisions may be billed at an hourly rate of $65.00.

Photography

Canoe Valley produces in-house photography and art work. In some cases, you may not have access to the images you want for your product. Canoe Valley has partnered with expert stock agencies around the world who are able to outsource professional photography and illustrations.  Extra charges may apply depending on the quantity produced. Please ask us for more information.

 Submissions

Artwork submissions, such as logos, illustrations and photography are all acceptable in the following formats. High-resolution – 300 dpi JPEGs, RAW images, PDF or Photoshop PSD format. Illustrations are accepted in Adobe Illustrator .AI, EPS, Vector outline format. Please email each photo or artwork file as a separate email.

If you are unsure of the file convention request mentioned above, please give us a call and we will explain it to you. Our goal is to ensure the highest quality reproduction of your images and art work as possible.

Proofs

You will be provided with a digital proof in Adobe PDF format before any work goes into production. Your email response will be considered acceptance and approval of the job unless a revision is needed. If a physical proof is required, there may be further charges. (Please see Artwork Guidelines).

Payment

There is a non refundable deposit of 50% required before work has begun and final payment must be received in full before shipment of your order. Cheque, VISA, MasterCard and interact email money transfers from your bank are all acceptable forms of payment. Please make cheque payable to Canoe Valley. Shipping and taxes extra.

Delivery

We will ship your custom order within 2-4 weeks upon final approval. Reorders can be shipped within 2 weeks or sooner provided there are no alterations to the original file. Express 2 day service is available at additional charge.
